The snowboard that changed the world.

2011 Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX

2011 Lib Tech Skate Banana 154 - YELLOW

In 2006, the Lib Tech experiMENTAL Division introduced the revolutionary Skate Banana series featuring “Banana Technology”, rocker placed specifically between your feet, combined with flat-to-mild cambers running from the inserts to the traditional contacts. This new geometry ended 20 years of misapplied ski camber and was the most significant snowboard geometry performance enhancing breakthrough since Magne-Traction and deep sidecuts in the 80's. Banana Tech reverses a snowboard's "pressure map". With Banana Tech your weight is shifted from your feet inward to the center of your board where balance is controlled, making turns easy to initate, catch-free and forgiving, incredible float in powder, and is unreal for jibbing and poppy freestyle fun. Ride a Banana! INGREDIENTS: CORRECT SANDWICH: Low spin weight! BANANA TECH: Control between your feet! MAGNE-TRACTION: Studs on ice! H-POP CORE WITH BANANA SPECIFIC CORE PROFILE: Pop and performance! POWER TRANSFER INTERNAL SIDEWALLS: More pop! SWIRL DOUBLE SINTERED UHMW SIDEWALLS: Tough! SWIRL SINTERED UHMW BASE: Slippery like banana! Bananas are offered in Narrow (24.2 waist), Standard (24.5) and Wide (26.5) This is just a quick summary. Read full tech explanations at www.lib-tech.com
